I Dare to Dream

I Dare to Dream Project is an empowerment brand inspiring women to share and pursue their dreams unapologetically. Founder Valerie Jeannis came to us looking for visual support to bring the project into its next phase. With a solid foundation and clear vision, she only needed our help to bring her passion and energy for that vision to life. We created an optimistic, colorful visual language that reflects Valerie’s spirit and dedication to encouraging all women to follow their dreams.

Valerie Jeannis started I Dare to Dream with her book, “What Do You Dare to Dream?” Initially inspired by newspaper designs, we wanted to maintain the black, white and red palette but infuse new energy and life into the design language.

We created a geometric palette with sharp angles that mimic the colorful, dimensional “D” logo. While maintaining the grid, we rounded the corners to add some approachability and represent all of the different types of people that I Dare to Dream Project brings together. For the project’s teen division, “Hey Girl, Dream,” we created a deconstructed version of the same pattern that feels more youthful and imperfect.

“The Magenta team infused new life into the brand… Bold. Fun. Vibrant. A colorful brand full of personality.”
